Guidelines for a safe journey

The advice detailed below, while not being compulsory, facilitate a trip that is enjoyable for everyone. In case you want to travel alone just inform the Route Manager.

Recommendations in route

• Ride carefully and enjoy the route. When you are travelling on unknown roads you don’t know what problems there may be just around the corner.


• To deviate from the marked route please notify the Route Manager or another rider.



• If there is no clear route to follow it is recommended that you stop and wait for the others.

• To phone one of the party you should remember that on motorcycles it is difficult to hear and you should be patient.


• It is important to pay greater attention when passing through towns and cities to avoid getting lost or losing one of the group. There will always be a stop for regrouping at the entrance to the town or city.


• If you do get lost remember that the roadmaps have telephones and addresses of all accommodations.


• When stopping at petrol stations it is recommended everyone refuels together. Please don’t wait for the next refuelling if you're not quite sure of reaching it. The refuelling stops are made according to the motorcycle with the least distance between fill-ups.

Preparing your trip

On a motorcycle we must never travel without the essentials.

Accessories

Chain lubricant, bike toolkit, roll of adhesive tape, puncture repair kit, plastic cable ties, replacement bulbs.

Luggage

Apart from the equipment that we wear you need comfortable shoes that don’t take up too much space, a jersey for the night and dark trousers, socks and underwear. In case of not wanting to wear your motorcycle jacket at night, and it is cool, then bring something that is easily stashable. There is no need to bring a change of clothes for each day. We are not models. Use the little space we have for clothes to carry more underwear. All hotels will have towels and toiletries.

Your equipment

Hull, Strip, sunglasses, gloves, raincoatsuit, special jacket and trousers besides footwear that protects the feet in case of emergency landing.

Recommendations for a sure trip.

Check the good functioning of the suspensions, lights, indicators, tires, chain, brake discs, cables, water levels and oil, state od the battery, locks, etc.

Important: this checking must be realized a few days before departure apart from the normal checkings recommanded by the manufacturer of the motorcycle.
